Biography

Carol Fay is a Santa Barbara, California quilter with 21 years of experience. She is a member of the Coastal Quilters Guild, and has exhibited in several guild shows, quilt shops, and bookstores. In 1997 she served as the technical consultant for the Westmont College production of the play “Quilters”, and coordinated the construction of the quilts for the show. In 1998, her collaborative quilt with 4th graders at Crane School, Montecito, netted $4,000 at a charity auction. She has participated in numerous local and national workshops and classes, including the Arrowmont School of the Arts in Tennessee (2004) . Her background is as a software engineer, where she specialized in customer training and support. Carol has taught quilting and sewing at a summer camp in Arizona, and at several quilting and sewing shops in California and Nevada.
